What is the quadratic equation??
y= ax² + bx + c
This is the quadratic equation. it is made up of an "A", "B", and "C" value.
the parent function of a quadratic relationship is....y= x²
..........so if an equation does not have the x² it is not a quadratic relationship.
the b-value is the sum the two integers when the equation is in factored form (FF) and the c-value is the product of the two integers.
B-value = sum
C- value = product
FF: (X+ 7) (X+8)
EF: x² + 15x + 56
7+8= 15
7*8= 56
A-value= opens upwards/ opens downwards
width/ narrow
C-value= y-intercept
